How will you deliver my plants?

We either use a next-day service with Hermes or Royal Mail to send our high-value plants, or a two to three day service for less valuable orders. This is to keep costs down for our customers. If you have special delivery requests please let us know when placing an order.

All of our plants are carefully and lovingly packaged in recycled, biodegradable packaging to make sure they arrive to you in the best possible condition. Heat packs are provided when shipping in colder temperatures.

Once your order has arrived please let the package warm up to room temperature and then carefully open as soon as possible to give your new plants some light and air.

We do not recommend that you remove your new plants from the potting medium until at least a week has elapsed to minimise the risk of transplant shock. If you immediately dig your plant out of the potting medium we will not be able to offer you a refund should you be unhappy later down the line.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We will only ship orders on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday using the services detailed above. For orders over £50 we will ship with next day delivery, so your new plants should arrive by Friday at the latest. For less valuable orders please wait an extra day or two. We also may delay postage if adverse weather is forecast, as no-one wants to receive cold-damaged plants!

Can I collect my order from the shop?

Yes you can. Please select 'collect from store’ at checkout and contact us using our website or through social media to let us know when you will be collecting.

Can you order in special plants for me?

We have access to an extensive range of suppliers and we are also growing many of our own rare plants from cuttings/propagations. If you are after a specific plant that we don’t have listed, please check our website at a later date or contact us and we will try our best to help.

I have a question about my order, can I speak to you?

Are you able to accept returns?

We endeavour to ensure that all of our plants are treated with care when they are in the nursery and are lovingly packed before they make their way to you.

If you have received a plant that you are not happy with please get in touch with us and attach any photographs of the item and we will discuss your options with you.

We are not able to offer refunds for plants with natural imperfections or minor damage from transit. All plants are unique, and the images on our website are for illustrative purposes only that show in good faith the species, size and condition of plant you will receive.

Finally, we do not offer part-refunds as unfortunately this is liable to be abused by customers. If we have agreed a return with you in exchange for a full refund, we will also happily reimburse your return postage costs when the plant is back in our care.

Are you open in the week?

During the summer months we are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am - 4pm.

In winter the plant shop is only open on weekends from 10am - 4pm, however we are still sending mail order plants out and are available for consultations/appointments during the week.
